Great read
This is an entertaining yet educational book. Put simply, it was a fun book to read that stayed true and taught well the biblical truths of being born again. This would be a great book for youth to Sr. adults. I would highly recommend this book to those who are seeking and those who are serving.
Jim Barringer cuts through the fog of deep theology to get to what it means to be truly born again.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and benefited from reading it. It contains much useful information. I am going to read it a 2nd time as it contained more than I could absorb reading it once. The author expressed compassion not judgment on controversial topics and was open about his own difficulties in growing spiritually. I heartily recommend the book. Barry Claeson NYC
Barringer boils down basic Christian theology into understandable ,bite sized pieces in this book that both challenges and encourages. It is an excellent mix of self disclosure, scholarly thought and discussion for anyone who is considering a Christian walk of faith or for those walking without passion.
This book is full of really good, need to know details laid out in an easy to follow format. I bought several copies to give to both Christian and non-Christian friends. I know Jim personally and trust that his doctrine is sound. He practices what he teaches. This will either be eye-opening or a refreshing reminder - Read It!
Jim Barringer (the author) writes very clearly and succinctly about exactly what it means to be born again by God. The book is straightforward and very easy to read. I would recommend it to anyone who would like to peel away all the religious fluff found in many of today's churches (denomination not withstanding) and learn what being a "Christian" really means.
